Since the early 2000’s Louise has been challenging the way technology is utilised to influence critical business decisions.
Louise began her career as a software developer in the Business Intelligence space. By 2005 Louise was the Product Manager for what was to become one of the largest BI platform’s in the world. After the sale of the solution, Louise broadened her knowledge to include data acquisition, manipulation & management software and technologies.
With the emergence of mobile technology, Louise cofounded MiPlan in 2010 with the aim to change the data management landscape of Mining, Civil and other key industries around the world.
MiPlan’s vision is to provide simple, reliable and cost effective solutions which draw upon the rapidly evolving technology market. Clients of MiPlan have already experienced over $100m in productivity and cost savings and improved safety initiatives .
Clients can now provide employees with the necessary information from which continuous business improvement decisions can be made in a timely manner.
By refusing to accept the norm and always looking for faster and more efficient ways to solve problems Louise and the MiPlan team have been able to change the perception of industry and ensured that their clients continue to benefit from the rapidly evolving technology market with minimal risk.
This highly successful mining software solutions company was acquired by an international firm, Hexagon at the start of 2017. Also in 2017, Louise was awarded EY’s Entrepreneur of the Year award for the Western Region and was an Australian finalist.
