Recognised as one of the Top Leaders in Identity, Mariana Dahan is a former World Bank official and initiator of the Identification for Development (ID4D) agenda. She is also Founding Member at the Global Blockchain Business Council and Blockchain Program Fellow at New America Foundation.
Mariana Dahan has received numerous awards and recognition for her work in emerging and frontier markets catalyzing progress towards digital identity systems using 21st century technology solutions. Prior to joining the World Bank Group, Mariana Dahan was a visiting researcher at the MIT Sloan School of Management where she worked on her book “Quenching the Thirst for Innovation”.
Dr. Dahan holds two PhD degrees in management and economic sciences, from ESCP Europe Business School and Paris II University in France.
